The Nigerian Legion wishes to inform the veteran community, widows, orphans, and the general public that the leadership of Ms. Grace Morenike Henry is already setting in motion a fresh direction aimed at restoring the dignity, welfare, and pride of all Nigerian veterans.
Ms. Henry, who brings her insider knowledge and first-hand understanding of the challenges faced by ex-servicemen and their families, has made it clear that her administration will be one of transparency, service, and renewal. She has assured that her stewardship will not only address existing gaps but also lay a strong foundation for a thriving and respected Nigerian Legion.
Central to this vision is her 5-Point Strategic Action Agenda, tagged the “Legion Rebirth Blueprint”, which will be unveiled to the public very soon.
In her words, Ms. Henry emphasized: “I lead the Legion of the veterans, by the veterans, and for the veterans. Our mission is clear – to restore honor, welfare, and pride to every Nigerian veteran while making the Legion a symbol of integrity and service.”
The Nigerian Legion stresses that this emerging agenda reflects a deliberate effort to reposition the institution as a true home for veterans and their families.
All veterans and stakeholders are therefore urged to key into this vision, as Ms. Henry’s leadership remains committed to ensuring that no veteran, widow, or orphan is left behind.
