On Wednesday 14th of August, members of the Female Military Veteran Association(FMVA) paid a courtesy visit to the National Chairman of the Nigerian Legion, Maj Gen. AM Jibril (Rtd). The coordinator of the FMVA, Ms Morenike Grace Henry explained extensively about the necessity and purpose of the Association and how the lives of Female Military Veterans will be improved through the Association.
The National Chairman of the Nigerian Legion was happy to receive the FMVA. He promised to add the association to the list of Veterans Associations under the Nigerian Legion and to support in the capacity of the Nigerian Legion. He further commended the efforts of the members and advised to further improve the activities of the association.
